We are pleased to announce our opening reception for Painter Lynda Mussen.

Nature is my inspiration for painting. I like to think I capture moments in time...when the light hits a subject in a compelling way. Whether an expansive vista, a street scene, a person, or a flower, I seek to express what I see in terms of light and shadow, inviting the viewer to spend some time with the scene and feel its emotion.
Painting in earnest since 2017, Lynda spent a few years after retirement from her teaching career in 2016 taking drawing and painting classes at SUNY Plattsburgh.
